International Career Academy And Reorientation (iCARE) identifies, discusses, investigates, evaluates and monitors student / Youths behavior which poses a concern, potential threat or actual threat to self or others. The purpose of iCARETeam is to provide a centralized structure for the student community for early intervention of at-risk students through collaboration with school,Students exhibiting behaviors that are of concern in relation to their personal, physical and emotional well-being should be referred to the iCARE Team along with students who are intimidating, disruptive, aggressive, or violent. The iCARETeam will review all information available on the student’s behavior and background to determine an action plan and monitor the student on a case-by-case basis. The team meets regularly and on an ad hoc basis providing professional psychological sevices

Functions of the iCARETeam
When alerted to a concern, iCARE will
Gather Information
Identify needs of those impacted
Develop and implement plans for the student, including both immediate and ongoing strategies
Provide and make referrals for advice, support, and assistance
Address risks of harm to student and/or others involved with the student
Review interventions and implementation throughout the process
Refer a Student to the iCARETeam
Refer a student to the iCARETeam by submitting a report through our secure online PLATFORMS
